Dan O'Donnell

YOUR SONS AND DAUGHTERS

I'm not fond of Rugby Union,
and I don't like League that much.
I'm more into sports like Croquet,
Power-Walkin', Lawn Bowls, and such
activities that keep me busy
on which I place great store.
When I feel the need for rough stuff
I take part in a nice little war!
I'm not fond of macho sports
like Soccer and Rules and Rasslin',
Ice Hockey, Gridiron, Bull Fightin',
where there's pushin' and shovin' and hasslin'!
No, I like to get me rocks off
where I'm not in danger stark
so I'm sendin' your sons and daughters
to this war against Iraq.
Now I love the common Iraqis.
They are just like you and me.
It's that evil Saddam the Dictator
that I cannot bear to see.
I'm backin' me mate Mister George Bush
who knows how to really kick ass
but I'm doin' it here in Orss-try-lya:
I'm sending the Army's Top Brass.
Oh yeah! And your sons and daughters!
