THOM NOV 14, 2002 OLD IDEAS REBORN like equality, humanity,fraternity someone stole the light globe from our words we can no longer say - "we" or "love" or "peace" without a cynical twist a post-modern sneer underneath our words are dolphins and crocodiles one wants to play with us the other sees us as a food source turn the globe ON! Thom Nov 14, 2002 REASONS FOR GLADNESS/SEASONS OF SADNESS Letting go of every moment- Of all our many pasts and sadnesses Of those we love - who leave - have left Of those we need to hold on to - We carry our selves through a wearied world Picking up pieces day by day Each night, numbering the named stars again Just in case one goes missing. THOM NOV 23, 2002 LEST WE FORGET Dresden, Hiroshima, Nagasaki Waco, Ruby Ridge, Oklahoma City, Philadelphia, Jasper, Grenada Libya, Beirut, Tokyo, Columbia Cuba, Chile, Argentina, Nicaragua Vietnam, Iran, Korea and Cambodia- they also remember America!
